What is Digital Styling?
Digital Styling is a working term that I assigned to the method of styling interior in post-production, after the shooting itself is done. What is this for:
- Get rid of the need to search, deliver, unpack, arrange, pack and deliver props back
- Get rid of the risk of breaking/losing an expensive piece of decoration
- Independence from the availability of the desired decor in the shops of the city
- Ability to put in a frame rare, expensive, inaccessible interior items, the choice is limited only by the library models on the Internet or the ability to model the desired item yourself
- Save time during the shoot, no need to unpack and move stuff
- Simplification of the shooting process (in example: no need to hold the picture with your hands for the frame when you can’t stick it on the wall because of the risk of damaging the wall)
What are the advantages?
Compared to classic shoots, where all interior decoration takes place directly on the shoot, Digital Styling offers:
- The ability to make full decorated and finished shots when there is no way to bring decor on the spot
- Saving time on shooting (no need to unpack, arrange, pack everything back)
- Ability to change the final result according to the wishes of the customer after the shoot
- The ability to shoot furniture in production and turn this image into furniture in the finished interior (relevant for furniture manufacturers)
